Don’t forget that Prep H, Prep W and Prep M are going to Casey Safety Village tomorrow. Don’t forget your fruit, snack and drink bottle for the excursion and lunch for when we get back to school (around 1:30pm).

Prep S and Prep B are going on THURSDAY! We are so excited to take your kids to this fun venue 🙂

Please don’t send your child with a lunch order tomorrow if you are going on the excursion as we cannot predict a return time to match the canteen and would hate them to get cold food!

We had a great day on Friday at our Fun Run. Thank you to everyone for the support.

You still have time to donate to our school and have the opportunity to be in the running for a BMX bike. Here is the link for the CUA School Fundraising page where parents can log in and create a profile for the child to raise money for the fun run. Once they have created their profile they need to share it to receive donations.

Any child who raises at least $1 online will go into the draw to win a Colony Premise BMX Bike which retails at $750. The raffle will be drawn at assembly.

Donations can be accepted until Tuesday 24th October.

Swimming Update

Our Preps are having a wonderful time swimming this week and they are already showing progress in the pool. We are very pleased with their behaviour and the swimming teachers are too!

One of the goals of school swimming at Beaconsfield is to develop independence. We are actively encouraging the students to dry and dress themselves as much as possible and then our helpers are assisting whee necessary. You can practise at home too.

Thank you to the wonderful parents who have volunteered to help us. We couldn’t run swimming without you!
